This is my character Ceyla and I drew her for the prompt "Pumpkin". And no, I did not just slip a pumpkin shirt on her, but when I first created her she actually had a different name: Curcubita, which is part of the latein name for Pumpkins!
I changed her design a lot and she's the girlfriend of one of my other OCs named Amilia. She's a fairy, she has light based magical abilities and a dog that can open doors to other planes. Her girlfriend Amilia is a demon. Their relationship started out as Amilia being a big fangirl of Ceyla, because she's also a very talented singer.
(Warning this doesn’t follow the homestuck canon guidelines for families-so the lusus are still there but the parents or parent in some cases are there was well- or the canon timeline. It is just something I threw together to get a idea out of my head. Okay so as I was writing this I realized it was just a AU so that solves that also it turned out really long so it’s going under read more)
The leo sighed sitting up on top of the hill she had found, she was a Leijon and if her mother was correct. This love of hers was doomed, she was watching Aleksi and Bano chatting away and she let out another soft sigh. Aleksi was a blue blood, not a red blood. Maybe it would be different? Although she wasn’t sure whether she wanted to find out or not
“Ceyla! Hey! Come on down for a minute would you? We need a huntresses opinion on something?!” Bano yelled and she nodded before she walked down the hill and joined them back
“What’s up?” she asked and Aleksi gestured to the prints on the ground
“Pounce or Tavros’s lusus?” he asked and she knelt down looking over the prints
“Neither, they were made by my mother’s shoes” she said and she stood up brushing off her dress “How could you not tell? Pounce has large paws much larger than any shoes and you’ve seen the shoes my mother walks around in all the time! Plus Tav’s lusus flies and he doesn’t leave any tracks. . .”
Bano and Aleksi let her rant so 1. Bano could watch her OTP interact and 2. Aleksi could stare at Ceyla without it looking creepy
“So next time study it more” the olive blood finished and the blue blood nodded
“Right we’ll be more careful next time” he said and she smiled nodding
“Good I’m glad, now! Sorry to steal him away Bano but Equius and mother will want us to start heading to Equius’s hive now” she apologized and Bano shook her head
“No no, it’s okay. You two stay safe” she said and they both nodded before they headed off and Ceyla quieted down, she was only really able to speak around Aleksi when there were other trolls around. If they weren’t around then she got as quiet as a mouse
“Why do you always do that?” he questioned and at her curious look he sighed “Go quiet whenever it’s just you and me?”
She shrugged before looking down at her gloves fiddling with them and she blushed when he caught her hands between the two of his and they stopped walking
“You’re the shipping Queen’s daughter and yet you have no idea” he said softly and she looked up at him ready to rip him a new one when she saw the look on his face, it was a kind, loving look and certainly not the kind a friend gave to another friend. She found her self unable to speak and he sighed softly in what was obviously disappointment and she bit her lip, here went everything.
She stepped closer to him and when he lifted his eyes to look at her, she kissed him and she slipped her hands out of his and darted to his father’s hive where her mother was waiting for her. She hurried inside and flashed Equius’s lusus and Pounce a smile before she almost banged into Equius and she jumped back with a loud squeak.
“I-I’m sorry Equius” she stuttered out and her mother peeked out from behind her moirail
“ :33< What’s wrong Ceyla?” Nepeta asked concerned and her daughter shook her head, their question was then answered when Aleksi ran over and leant on his knees panting
“Damn it. . .Ceyla. You didn’t. . . let me. . .respond” he gasped out and she just gave her mother a pleading look
“:33< Whatever she didn’t respond to will have to wait. We’ve got to go home now” Nepeta said and Ale straightened up
“No it can’t, I need to know why she kissed me” he insisted and Ceyla’s face turned her blood colour in a matter of second as the two adults looked at her and she turned to face him
“I kissed you because I needed to get my hands out of yours” she lied and at his narrowed eyes, she blushed darker “A-And because I l-like you”
“In what way?” he questioned and she glanced at their parents before she walked over to him and whispered something in his ear which caused him to grin and for her to blush more “Ah okay, you can go home now”
She didn’t have to be told twice, Nepeta followed her daughter over to where Pounce was and soon the Leijon family were at home

OB: Y9ah 3orry it took 3o long, MH had b99n 39nding m9 m933ag93 3inc9 thi3 morning. Had to r9ad through th9m all. Now li3t9n uh, about b9fur um (Yeah sorry it took so long, MH had been sending me messages since this morning. Had to read through them all. Now listen uh, about before um)
SB: *SB walks over and rubs OB’s shoulders, knowing that when she slipped into cat puns she was nervous and maybe some roleplaying while they talk might help?*
OB: *OC nods thankfully knowing that if she wants to talk to him, she’s going to need to be calm about it*
SB: *He gives her a smile and sits down before drawing the Olive blood into his lap and hugging her* ok4y 5o you r34dy to t4lk? (okay so you ready to talk?)
OB: *She nods and settles into his lap happily, even letting out a content purr when the blue blood wraps his arms around her* I’m r9ady, i r9ally lik9 you Al9 and i want to go into the r9d room with you if you’ll hav9 m9? (I’m ready, I really like you Ale and I want to go into the red room with you if you’ll have me?)
SB: *He gives her a loving smile and rests his forehead against hers* Th3r3 15 noth1n9 1 would lov3 mor3 (There is nothing I would love more)
OB: *The huntress perks up and kisses him happily, more than overjoyed to hear that*

Ceyla put her laptop down and started dancing around the room laughing and squealing happily, she raced back to her laptop when it binged and she giggled seeing a new message from him

SB: *he kisses her back happily pulling her against him and he pulls away to speak* Could you com3 ov3r? pl3453? (Could you come over? Please?)
OB: *she glances outside and bites her lip* But th9 3un i3 almo3t up and your tran3port9r i3 fa3t9r than min9, couldn’t you com9 and 3p9nd th9 night? (But the sun is almost up and your transporter is faster than mine, couldn’t you come and spend the night?)
SB: *He kisses her again and pulls away to grin* th4t’5 4 gr34t 1d34! 1′ll 533 you 5oon! (That’s a great idea! I’ll see you soon!)
“MOTHER, WE’RE GOING TO HAVE A GUEST!” Ceyla yelled shutting her laptop down and putting it away
“ :33< Who is it?” Nepeta called
“Aleksi, and he’s going to stay the night. If that’s okay?” She yelled and Nepeta laughed at the hesitant tone of her daughter’s voice
“ :33< It’s fine! Just make sure it’s okay with Equius first!” Nepeta yelled back
“He was fine with it!” A voice called to Nepeta and Ceyla jumped up and span around to see Aleksi walking over to her grinning and she darted over to him and hugged him tightly and he hugged her tightly back.
“ :33< Mew two seem to have sorted everything out” Nepeta said smiling at the two of them as she leaned against her daughter’s doorway and Ceyla blushed darkly while Aleksi grinned at Nepeta sheepishly
“Hello Nepeta sorry to have popped over so unannounced” he apologized and Nepeta shook her head
“:33< It’s alright, it’s late so why don’t mew two watch a movie before going to bed?” Nepeta suggested and she got two nods from the recent red mates. She smiled before leaving the room, shutting the door behind her. Ceyla smiled shyly at Aleksi before she squeaked and kissed him back when he kissed her, he picked her up and she wrapped her arms and legs around him while he wrapped his arms around her.
Supporting her ass as the two kissed and moved over to the couch. He gently sat her down on the couch as they broke the kiss, the two of them blushing and smiling before he moved away and started setting up a movie. The two of them had known each other since they were a sweep old so they had hung over at each other’s houses enough to know how to set up movies and where everything was.
He put in some rom com that he knew she loved and he went back and got comfortable on the couch and she crawled into his lap and the two of them wrapped their arms around each other as the movie started.
The movie ended two hours later and the two of them hadn’t payed much attention to what was going on in the story, they had been too busy softly talking to each other. Ceyla yawned as she got up and she stretched before putting the DVD away and turning the TV off.
“Get changed then recuperacoon sleep?” she suggested looking at Aleksi who nodded
“Sounds like a plan” he agreed before he went, grabbed his bag and went to the bathroom to change. When he came back, he saw that Ceyla wasn’t in her bedroom so he went and sat down with his legs in her recuperacoon while he waited for her.
When she came back into the room, his breath hitched looking at her. Since she normally wore bulky coat, he had no idea how well she had filled out and she had. The white tank top and lightly blue cat wearing crowns shorts did nothing to hide that, he smiled at her when he saw her blush from his obvious gazing and she walked over and straddled his lap.
“Opinions?” she asked blushing darker, her face a dark olive green colour
“You look beautiful and i am more then happy to tell you that as much as you like but your tired, so let’s sleep” he said nuzzling her cheek and she giggled before she smiled nodding and he slipped them both into the recuperacoon-It looks like Gamzee’s and Kanaya’s mixed together since it’s hanging from the roof but it’s kinda big as well-and the two got comfortable as they snuggled and Ceyla rested her head on him gently.
“Goodnight Ale” she said closing her eyes and he smiled, kissing the top of her head before he closed his own eyes
“Goodnight Ceyla” he whispered and the two fell asleep.
Slightly old inked commission for cetas over on FA! Ceyla has managed to inflate one of Cetas' rubber raptor toys, pinning him beneath. Look at her, she's not even sorry.
