UNITED WE STAND HOLIDAY GIFT EXCHANGE : @cfbartcn
that was the deal.
HE’S HURT. He’s hurt and the edges blur. ( They’ve traded this debt between so many times it is becoming difficult to know who is the keeper of the blood, and who is the one exposed to the attack. ——- They’ll race each other for it, that remains. )
“ I don’t remember this part of the deal. ”
This time, with the proper amount of supplies, it’s another staple that proves her point.

CLINT 💪 ( @cfbartcn )
[ 21 : 11 ] i know this is a long shot [ 21 : 11 ] that you haven’t answered your phone for idk how long now [ 21 : 12 ] if you see this, maybe call soon? or text proof of life
FOR SALE : TWO LARGE, JUDGMENTAL DOGS WHO DON’T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RUN AND A JOG.
The world is on fire, which isn’t new ––––––– still, don’t underestimate the correlation between INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT and fasted cardio. Sharon drapes herself across Clint’s broad back where he’s bent over the counter, taking care to blot the sweat off her forehead between his shoulder blades while twin jingling leases clack abandoned along the hardwood.
❝ Good news : track suit guy is back at the end of the block. Better go teach him a lesson about my HONOR, or something. ❞
@cfbartcn !
does your muse wish they were a different height?
appearance headcanons.
to be honest, steve’s concept of his height varies wildly. most days, he remembers that he is tall and that, yes, he can reach the top shelf. but he lived 85% of his life as someone who is 5′4″. some days, he feels like maybe 6′ was too much. couldn’t he have been just an inch or two shorter, if only so that his depth perception was not so wildly out of wack?
but overall, he’s quite satisfied with his height now!
fighting style.
throwing this out to start, contrary to what current media suggests : arthur is a far more imaginative and efficient fighter underwater than he is on the surface and it all boils ( shush ) down to his speed. he relies on adaption techniques, capable of taking enough blows himself without incapacitation to assess and formulate a successful counter that … generally debilitates his opponent. on land he’s a tank. his style of fighting isn’t beyond the scope of punching and kicking at a threat until they’re handled. and for the most part it works. for the record, arthur has absolutely NO FORMAL TRAINING in surface hand to hand combat. and due to past events, he’s very much a boxed in fighter on land. rarely will he punch his fists outside his frame due to possible collateral damages.
jessica will always choose non - verbal communication over verbal. people can, have, and continually lie whether they realize it fully or not ( to themselves, to others — ). but the way they carry themselves, their ability to look you in the eye or glance to the side in recollection, how they treat their hands or feet or personal space. it’s the way in which people react around jess that tells her more than they were intending on ever sharing.

Bruce was still trying to deal with the disconnect that came with losing two years. The fact that those years had included the fracture of the team over a complicated issue made dealing with it even more complicated. For the time being he was doing his best to stay neutral. The last thing he wanted to do was make trouble for anyone.
As he made his way to a small diner he had on the usual outfit he wore during his years on the run that helped him remain inconspicuous. A large grey hoodie and a baseball cap helped him blend in as much as possible. He added a messenger bag with a few things inside it just notebooks, a couple of pens, and a regular book in case the person he was meeting was late or decided not to show up at all.
When he reached the diner he took a seat at a booth in the back with a view of the door. He gave the waitress a small smile and said he was waiting for someone. She asked if he wanted something to drink while he waited and he decided on an iced tea. He pulled out his book while he waited and kept glancing at the door.
