Honestly I was confused when BrokenRecord3 said something about scary art. I then looked through your blog and clutched my metaphorical pearls and let out a cry of fear and joy.
I adore the morbid way you sometimes draw them and now I need more. there isn't nearly enough frightening art of them.
Anyways ta! have a lovely day and keep being awesome.
Hello, dear Anonymous! :3
To answer your question: it just so happens that my favourite genre is drama. And since Jeeves and Wooster is pure comedy, I'm particularly interested in reading fanfiction where these two are thrown into crisis and difficult situations and seeing how they interact when things are no longer so easy-going and even Jeeves can't fix everything. I like this contrast with the original but it's not like I read that kind of thing all the time.
I used to draw all kinds of dark art based on them, but I was embarrassed to post them on Tumblr because they stood out too much from the rest of the content with their darkness. :(
As for whether there should be more content like this... a year ago, I read an old, very bitter fanfic about Jeeves and Wooster on the theme of PTSD and memory loss, which made a strong impression on me (I haven't read anything since haha), and I would like to do something based on it. Not just one or two pieces of art, but something more complete, but I need time to think about it. But I can't promise anything.
If anyone has read this far, thank you very much for your question, Anonymous, and for your interest in my ‘scary’ art! :3
