Jake Bennett & Sharon Carter

Jake and Sharon’s relationship began entirely by accident — the kind of chance encounter neither of them could’ve predicted would change their lives forever. Sharon hadn’t been searching for him, and Jake certainly wasn’t trying to be found. But when Sharon fell from a rooftop during a mission gone wrong, Jake happened to be in the right place at exactly the right time. Unable to stand by while someone was in danger — especially with the abilities he possessed — he stepped in without hesitation and saved her life.
The rescue left Sharon with more questions than answers. Before she could confront him, Jake disappeared just as quickly as he arrived. But in his rush to leave, he accidentally dropped his wallet, giving Sharon everything she needed to track him down. Already suspicious that he was another enhanced individual hiding in plain sight, she became determined to uncover the truth.
Jake believed he was careful, always staying two steps ahead and keeping his existence hidden from the world. Yet somehow, Sharon still found him. Nervous about being exposed, he brushed off her suspicions and tried to explain away his impossible timing and strength. What he didn’t realize was that Sharon had years of experience dealing with people who possessed extraordinary abilities.
When she finally revealed herself as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Jake’s anxiety only grew. That fear eased slightly when Sharon assured him she wasn’t there to arrest or exploit him. Even then, he denied every accusation until she showed him footage of his battle against General Zod — a powerful survivor from Krypton who had attempted to reshape Earth into a replacement for their destroyed homeworld. Faced with undeniable evidence, Jake finally admitted the truth: he was Kryptonian, and despite the chaos that constantly surrounded him, he had never come to Earth to cause harm. Trouble simply had a habit of finding him.
Sharon convinced Jake to return with her to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, intrigued by both his abilities and the man behind them. She recognized immediately that beneath his guarded nature was someone who instinctively put others before himself — someone who genuinely wanted to save people. Over time, Jake opened up to her about his powers, his upbringing, and the loss of Krypton. In turn, Sharon became the first person outside of his adoptive parents that he truly trusted.
Their bond grew naturally. They began as partners, evolved into close friends, and eventually became something far deeper. Jake became fiercely protective of Sharon, valuing her safety above almost anything else in his life. She grounded him in a way no one else ever had, giving him a sense of belonging on Earth that he’d struggled to find for years.
When it was revealed that Hydra had secretly infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D., Jake stood by Sharon through the organization’s collapse. While Sharon continued her work through the CIA, Jake fully embraced the identity he had avoided for so long, becoming the Kryptonian hero known as Titan.
It was during this new chapter of their lives that their relationship officially began. Wanting some sense of normalcy with Sharon, Jake began wearing a Blue Kryptonite ring capable of suppressing his powers whenever he was around her unless they were truly needed. For once, he wasn’t just an alien trying to survive on Earth — he was a man building a life with the woman he loved.
Then came Thanos.
Before the Mad Titan could carry out his plan, Jake received word that Krypton — or at least fragments of it — might still exist somewhere in deep space. Torn between his responsibilities on Earth and the possibility of reconnecting with his lost heritage, he hesitated to leave, sensing that something terrible was approaching. But Sharon encouraged him to go, promising she would be waiting for him when he returned.
Then the Snap happened.
Although Jake survived, he became stranded on a distant planet near the remains of Krypton, unable to return to Earth. By the time he finally made it home, three years had passed. Half the universe had vanished, and Sharon was among those lost.
The news shattered him.
Consumed by grief and rage, Jake nearly lost himself completely, his Kryptonian emotions amplified by the devastating loss of the woman he loved. But when the remaining Avengers devised a plan to undo what Thanos had done, Jake stood beside them without hesitation. During the final battle, Titan fought on the front lines, driven not only by duty, but by the hope of seeing Sharon again.
And when the battle was finally over, he did.
Their reunion became the beginning of a new life together. Not long afterward, Sharon gave birth to twins — a son and a daughter, both carrying the legacy of two worlds as half-human, half-Kryptonian children. Holding his family in his arms, Jake made a promise he intended to keep for the rest of his life:
No matter what threats awaited the universe, he would never leave them behind again. Earth was his home, and Sharon and their children were the reason why.
