He’d taken a new name: a necessity for the profession he’d so graciously accepted. Ruination had followed him from the recesses of Pandora, haunted him his whole life, and swallowed the last bits of love he’d held for his home planet. Emotion was now a dying thing, direly wounded - best left beside mere shreds of forgotten human nature. 

“Cain Archer,” he says. He almost hopes that his superior will question the name - allow some of that carefully distilled venom to drip from his tongue. Curiosity is feigned, spine straightening as he peers over the desk that separates them. What he desires is hardly a position of subservience, but life has a funny - and often cruel - way of presenting opportunity. 

“I’ve been told to report to you directly. I presume you give all your freshly recruited, would-be sociopaths the same pep talk, mm? ‘Welcome to the company family’ and such?”

she used to paint when she was younger. yet another portion of her childhood ruined my her mother. now she just randomly doodles whenever she’s bored.

and i’ve headcanon’d before that nisha actually liked school. even through it was an obvious escape from from her toxic environment, nisha really had in interest in learning. at an early age she had this curiosity about her and i like to think that’s why she just wanders about, and can get so easily restless. she’d rather be out doing something, to see what the world is... and naturally cause some trouble.

also she isn’t as pissed at moxxi and the gang as one would think ( -cough- jack’s feels ≠ nisha’s feels ) anyway you know there’s a part of her like ‘ that was actually kinda close... ’ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) i mean lbr here, attempted murder is like borderline foreplay, soooo... yeah
