Janis tends to regress from 4-12. Regina is better at handling 8 and up whereas Cady does well when Janis is smaller.
Janis still has a lot of repressed anger and frustration with her life which can lead to her being a brat sometimes. Regina and Cady have very mixed handlings of that.
Regina tends to just be just as bratty back. Lightly teasing her or making fun of her until she stops. “Yeah? You’re gonna act up and call me a bitch? Because I’m not the one who’s acting like she deserves everything from Cady and I right now? So why don’t you stop whining and come sit with me and help me with my nails”
Cady’s more gentle but she will put her foot down. “Janis, baby I know that you’re pretty angry right now. Because you’re right it’s not fair. But being angry does not excuse lashing out at Gina and I. You wanna behave right? C’mon baby”
Janis loves to listen to music when she’s small. No matter what kind of music she just wants something to be playing. She has a very nice vinyl player that she practically worships when she’s small.
Regina is a very protective caregiver but can also get jealous. She loves Janis and she especially adores tiny Janis. So she can get a bit annoyed when Janis reaches out or clings to Cady more than her. She does not handle it well. Gets annoyed and kind of gives tiny Janis a cold shoulder until Janis returns to her.
Cady enjoys playing teacher with little Janis. Whether it’s math or cool animal facts she loves to tell Janis more about anything she’s interested in. Janis can be kind of annoyed about it in the moment but Cady has caught her telling Damian those same facts.
