💛 I hc hunk to be a worry little- he has a hard time regressing by himself because of his constant need to comfort someone.
💛 I can imagine he's a huge cuddler (as you said) and is often found asleep when cuddling someone-
💛 along the lines of sleeping when cuddling, Hunk is most definetly the sleepiest besides Keith. Most dont see it but he works really hard! And often times, if he's tired enough, his mind silly start to feel that familiar fuzzyness and all of a sudden you have a clingy yellow clad little attached to your hip.
💛 the easiest way to spot his regression is how quiet he gets. I like to think he's super shy and not super opened about his regression. He might have even hidden it from the others until Lance got fed up with hearing him downplay his need for a caregiver (Lance is a good caregiver, but I see him more as a big brother for Hunk-)
💛 he has a lil meerkat stuffie named puff (short for cheeto puff)
💛 his love for pretend food is something I absolutely adore- but along with food, he loves sensory toys. Silly sounds, soft or crunchy textures-
💛 the gear I can see him having his chewlery, a yellow paci with "honey-bear" beaded on the handle, some crinkle-fabric toys, gloves (prone to chewing on his fingers), grip socked onesies (clumsy-), and openly of play dough for both sensory and creative needs-
💛 His favorite spot to nap is next to if not on someone. Commonly their lap or chest- he's a cuddly Lil guy! And being held helps him feel so much smaller.
💛 talking in feeling smaller, I agree with the praise led idea. He's definitely self conscious even when small and commonly feels he can't snuggle someone like he wants to because he doesn't want to hurt them (super strong!) However, when Shiro became a help for him, Hunk began to allow himself that reassurance.

I Agree 100% that Hunk is very shy and downplays any sort of need for caregiving, but he feels better when someone is looking after him (Shiro would work wonders on this man). They get him a honeybear for SURE at some point...
