Ao no Exorcist Ch 107
***SPOILERS AHEAD***
Just some quick thoughts! So I think Satan had a real breakthrough, I don’t think he’s just joking and then going to just kill Yuri... hopefully. And how would Rin and Yukio exist? So he at least can’t kill her yet.
I think she touched on real feelings, and when Satan said to kill her he ended up unable to go through with it. He’s still acting like a child, albeit an overly intelligent, power drunk and crazy one, but a child all the same and he’s scared. His emotional maturity hasn’t developed as fast as his mind, and he needs someone. Bring in Yuri.
The only thing that doubts me about my decision has to do with Rin, and a bit Yukio. What does Satan really want from them? If he only wants a vessel to take over, then he had to have been using Yuri in this moment (unless his plan came later to him, but I do think he’s highly intelligent so it probably didn’t). But at the very begining of the series he wanted to bring Rin back to Gehenna, and I’m still not 100% on the motive. I’ve mentioned this thought before, and I still think it!
So basically, here I am kind of wanting to believe in the good of Satan’s heart for Yuri’s sake. Awe shit poor Yuri
