#kushina#kushina uzumaki#ch. 500#ft. minato#naruto#btw i really like this scene in the anime but not for the reasons everyone else does.#namely minato smiling at her and her getting distracted because of it#i like it because kushina is not allowed to take a moment's comfort offered by her reassuring husband because the moment she loses focus#she is immediately scolded like a misbehaving child by biwako who imo in that scene personifies all of konoha when she 'steps out of line'#like isn't it crazy a pregnant woman can't even bask in her partner's comfort because of the duties that have quite literally#been pressed upon her? she doesn't even get to decide how to give birth she's denied even that very basic right...#is that reading too far into it? yes but i'm having fun so who's winning
