icb i havent seen anyone else mention him and i cant explain it but theres something abt joaquin that has bewitched me. something something witnessing mcs vulnerable moment(s) when everyone else was focused on R/the poolcident. mc probably inevitably going to have to at some point realize he has/owes no loyalty to them they're not his friend or employer idk theres something abt the bits of concern shown ive been rotating him in my mind since the demo dropped. if u have any spare joaquin facts to share i'd appreciate it sm
joaquin is definitely someone that sees mc more for who they are instead of the nuisance most of the crew makes then out to be!
while he is just a side character, he'll definitely have his moments and will try to make things a little easier on mc (especially since he recognizes they're pretty alone) but you're right in saying that at some point, mc will realize that no matter how nice someone is they're always loyal to the band/R/Miriam first!

he got married young and has a 5 year old daughter
had a brief stint in the military before going private security
was recommended by R's parents to the label actually and works with the band since
has 3 younger brothers and his dad was a bit of a hard ass (something mc and he can bond over)
family is everything to him and being so long on the road does take its toll on him
he likes to keep the peace within the crew and has more than once told some roadies off for the way they act around mc/about them. he doesn't tolerate how people talk shit about other crew members/the band and shuts it down fairly quick usually
