“Laby wants to use emotion magic too!! Laby likes it a whole lot,” she comments, observing the brightly glowing particles floating around Ain. “Teach Laby!!”
"Arietta's friends are hungry," spoke the young girl, holding tight to a stuffed monster. Her voice sounded rough, like she wasn't used to using it very often. Behind her, large four-legged monsters stood and stared intensely at Laby.
Arietta continued, squeezing the fabric of the toy. "We need food."
Laby's attention was quickly turned towards the sound of a girl addressing her. It wasn't a voice she recognized, but she's always interested in meeting new friends!
"Hello Arietta and Arietta's friends!" She placed her fists on her hips and stood tall, looking among the cast of shady creatures that stood just beyond the girl. Laby smiled wide, appearing to be unbothered by their presence, excited even.
"Laby can get you food! Laby knows just where to find some!!" The taller girl turned on her heel to face away from the others, pointing herself in the direction of her nearby camp. "Follow Laby!"
