Mike would rather be anywhere else right now, but he knows the alternative is having Emily be pissed at him for the rest of forever. The only reason he hasn’t gone to Jess is because he wants to keep it a secret and, honestly, he isn’t sure if she knows what those are. “You know about handbags and stuff, right?”
