Changing Property Laws In the Colonies

One of the many innovations that were implemented into the colonies was the removal of the acts "primogeniture" and "entail".  Basically both of these things would ensure that a owned plot of land would never be divided, sold, or let outside of a family or its relatives.  In the long run this would hurt the colonies, hence the removal.

One of the inventions of the time period was called the spinning jenny, which was invented by James Hargreaves.  The invention decreased the amount of work and time that went into making clothes and fabrics drastically.  It was thought up when his daughter accidentally knocked over some equipment and he observed the motions and mechanisms that followed.
