Can you tell us about the ace character in your drawing??

Sure thing!  The picture is from a modern AU, so I’ll tell you about her in the context of the WIP itself, but not too much should be different, honestly.

So, that’s Adele St. Clair, who is one of the main characters of the WIP (the other mains are the two guys in the forefront and yes, Maven’s a guy, haha).  She’s 22. She comes from a wealthy family and was mostly raised by her uncle, since her parents died when she was little.  She was fairly sheltered growing up, so she’s quite smart and curious but also a bit naive.  She’s a big fan of poetry--the wordier and/or sappier, the better.  She’s a teeny bit stubborn, but an actual sweetheart.

(She’s literally the only genuinely Good Person of the three mains, you guys.)

When the WIP begins, she’s trying to make a journey across the country, but the person escorting her robbed her, leaving her essentially stranded in an unfamiliar city.  She stumbled across a mugger and was rescued by a quick-thinking stranger, who turned out to be Maven (our narrator, and a con artist).  She ends up hiring him and his best friend (also a con artist) to escort her during the rest of her journey, thinking they’re legit adventurers.

Naturally they end up becoming friends for realsies and all that jazz. Also, Adele might have ulterior motives for this journey that involve Twoo Wuv, but shhhh.

Anyway, the girl standing next to Adele in the picture is her fiancee, Emilia.  They’re cute AF together and I love them.  Then the girl behind them in the background is Adele’s childhood best friend Tiffany.  (Adele’s uncle kinda wanted them to get together, which is a long story, but they’re super platonic.)

Basically, I love her and she’s adorable. Also I love rambling about WIP stuff, so if you’ve got any more questions, feel free to ask! :)
