Orphan Black is so delightful because it’s a dark gory sci-fi horror but almost every episode between the killing and maiming and human experimentation they’re just like “Alison has been kidnapped by violent religious extremists…but the school bake sale is TONIGHT!” and they proceed to have wonderful clone swapping antics

#and they treat those issues with equal gravity #which i think is beautiful #orphan black
