Iris cautiously tiptoed her way forward, each little tap coming with the grace of the professional dancer inside her. She didn’t help him up just yet - she had no idea how much he weighed, first of all - but the very least she could do was to take his glasses and properly set them back across his face. Poor old man. Poor, innocent old man!

“You might not believe me,” she said, “but I’ve got contacts in the MPD!! Whoever did this... we’ll find them, and we’ll put them behind bars, for sure!!!”

Her voice was a little too chipper for someone viewing a shooting victim.

“Sooooooo... do you want a cab to the hospital? I've got JapanTaxi on my phone. I bet they’d get here super fast!”

Do you think Iris would ever pick up sewing again? Because technically as a healer, sometimes some wounds need to be sewn up (maybe) and if like to think she picks it up again, gets really good at it and then like does her own alterations and stuff, or like sews with LoA or Elain or both just as bonding?

Her training with the Head Healer would definitely go over that since it's a little different than regular sewing. Remember, Iris wasn't really good at it because a) she did it out of boredom and not out of interest and b) no one really taught her, she was winging it. Her father decided her interests and that's what she was able to do.

Do I think she'd love it and get particularly good at it? Nah. Do I think she'd dabble in it and let LoA and Elain teach her some things (like how to embroidery random little things on some of Eris's clothing)? For sure.

Eris finds little iris flowers embroidered on the inside of his cuff so only he sees them. He's found little flames, a little puppy he assumes is Lyra, and once he found a middle finger and laughed so fucken hard. You know she was pissed if she took the time to sew the design of a middle finger for him. They're a little messy but who is Eris to complain 😂
