She didn’t help him up just yet - she had no idea how much he weighed, first of all - but the very least she could do was to take his glasses and properly set them back across his face. Poor old man. Today was just the best day, wasn’t it? The three month anniversary - the three month anniversary!! - of Maria’s operation, and Carlos had the entire afternoon planned. She was going to come home from the adult learning school, and he was going to surprise her with Pizza Margherita, and Harmless Harvest Coconut Water, and a few things he’d gotten off of her Amazon wishlist and had delivered to the Amazon Lockers outside, because those evil overlords at Elgorg Amazon sure did make everything convenient, didn’t they?

So it was at least a small bit understandable that he wouldn’t exactly be watching where the heck he was going as he semi-skipped through the aisles, and nearly bowling over someone in front of the medicinal teas, knocking their entire basket out of their hands and getting dried fruit all over the floor.

“Oh- God, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. I’ll get these for ya.”

He bent down, grabbing what he could, before bending back up to see just who he’d so carelessly bumped into. And he very nearly dropped everything back on the floor again.

“It’s, uh... it’s you. Uh... hey.”

Developing Saito was so difficult, cause we hardly know the guy, other than what the game provides us, but oof... thank you so much! I get heavily worried that I didn't do a good job because he's just displayed as heartless.
