Matthew ducked back into his classroom, what was Layla doing here with a backpack? When he hadn't heard from her after the summer, he assumed the attraction had been fleeting for her and she was getting back into the routine of work.
But her she was walking toward his classroom after he spotted her kissing another of his students in the quad. So five minutes later when she walked into his lecture he couldn't help but cock an eyebrow at her and then started his lecture. "Welcome to college Writing 101, I'm Professor Haywood, if you're in the wrong class please exit the room. If you're in the correct classroom, it'll be an interesting semester."
"Come on let’s go and play!" Layla to Matthew

Matthew woke up to a shaking on his tent. The poles squeaked in protest. His eyes opened to the desert dawn and a shadow over his tent. He chuckled, “Layla, it’s only dawn. We have plenty of time before anything starts or before anyone is awake.” He slid out from the make shift bed in his tent. Once the desert sun fell under the horizon the nights were freezing, but it didn’t take long for it to heat back up the next day. Stripping out of his shirt and changing into some cut off khakis and left the tent.
"Alright, I’m up Lay, what ideas are in your head this morning?" He smiled at the girl that offered to help set up his camp site. Matthew slid the sun glasses onto his face and followed Layla out to the main grounds.
