Cha Eunho might be one of the more totally persuasive MLs ive seen in a kdrama but its precisely because the man is all over the place.

He's sexy as hell. He's a fucking loser. He's your hot uni professor and a bestselling author and chief editor at his publishing firm. and he is soooo lame. He's always looking at Da-ni like he wants to swallow her whole, but he also wants to give her a hot drink and wrap her in a warm blanket. He flirts with her shamelessly but if she talks to Seojun for five minutes he's all "noonaaaa the fridge broke, come homeee i need youuuu". He can't survive a day without telling Da-ni she's gorgeous pretty stunning beautiful. He also walks backwards and smacks into doors like a dork because all his attention at any given moment outside of work is on her.

“We’re all humans.” I started rewatching ‘romance is a bonus book’ with a friend of mine. One of the scenes that really stuck with me was this one. Sometimes we don’t need someone taking our side or or making a big deal out of something. Sometimes all we need is just some understanding. Some understanding for our pain, for our struggles. I think it can make us feel a little more seen, for who we are and how we feel, especially with the struggles we face. And I think people sometimes really need it to be seen, noticed as a human with their own feelings and struggles. That you, beautiful human, matter, no matter what you’re struggling with. Everyone deserves some sympathy because life isn’t easy. And you deserve sympathy for trying your best. I hope a show like this one can inspire people to show more sympathy towards each other, some more understanding. Like Dan-i said, ‘we’re all humans’; we all face hardships in life and I think showing more understanding for each other’s struggles, we can help each other better through these things. Yes... I guess I’ve fallen for K Drama at last! >^< Going from the person who would usually find the guys too flashy and fake somehow because that’s the impression I had seeing most of the actors with hair dyed in the most unnatural colours or wearing contact lenses and the girls having undergone countless plastic surgeries... I usually get very picky about films and series in general, if it doesn’t appeal to me from the plot, which might be too shallow or the story too protagonist-cantered, a failure at creating a climax, shallow characters i.e. no proper character development etc...

But for the first time I have to admit that I really, really fell in love with this series. I stumbled across it on Netflix and truth be said I didn’t like the synopsis and the trailer, but I still decided to give it a go and got absorbed into it sooooo quickly *^* I have a deep appreciation and understanding for the plot and I really value the real life situations they tried to include, the hardships of life from an adult’s point of view and not a teenager. The social implications and pressure, the work life in general... it’s a very entertaining show and yet an emotional one, well to me at least. I did end up pouring out tears T.T

But yes, I thought of maybe sharing it here. I would love to have some other people enjoy this show as much as I did. Plus if you are a sucker for romantic comedies this is just perfect >w< <3
