@itskarmalone this is it! Ideas and headcanons for the ship, Yasutora “Chad” Sado and Marinette Dupain-Cheng. It happens on the sidelines!

Marinette meets Chad and the others when meeting up with Rose.

They get to know each other and Chad finds Marinette adorable.

Chad and Marinette talk about their families: Chad talking about his Abuelo and Marinette talks about her parents, uncle, and grandparents.

Akuma attacks happen and Marinette lifts Chad and brings him to safety for before going off to transform into Ladybug.

Chad is concerned for Marinette whenever she is stressed or overworking herself

One time, Chad goes to the bakery to visit Marinette and he ends up staying for dinner after Tom and Sabine insists.

Chad finds Marinette working on a Multimouse doll and comments on how adorable it is.

Marinette is blushing from the comment. She makes another Multimouse doll just for Chad.

Because Marinette does not know about the shinigamis and hollows and all that due to Rose and Tikki agreeing Marinette has too much on her plate to deal with, Chad keeps an eye out during conversations in case Marinette comes in.

This is due to that one time Manon accidentally getting a hold on the soul candy(no thanks to Kon) and used it on the dolls Marinette has made.

But mostly, Marinette lifting Chad! Chad’s impressed.

Remember when Chad catapulted Rukia towards a hollow? Imagine Chad catapulting Ladybug towards the akuma, helping her out when she needs to use her Lucky Charm

Because why not? It’s wholesome and adorable so here are more headcanons for Chad x Marinette ship:

Whenever Marinette has break time, she would watch Carnivore Kingdom with Chad. She finds the characters very cute.

Whenever Marinette is babysitting Manon and Chad is visiting, Manon watches Carnivore Kingdom with them and would pretend to be the lion character from the show.

When Marinette first introduces Chad to her parents, Tom and Sabine are surprised how tall the boy. Nonetheless, they thanked him for helping Marinette. They even welcomed Chad into their home with open arms cause they could see how much their daughter cares for him.

Tom and Sabine found out Chad doesn’t have any family members left after getting to know him more, so they proceeded to invite him over for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Marinette could not stop her parents. Chad’s part of the family, now.

If anyone messes with Chad, Marinette is not having it. She will snap at anyone for doing so and will not let them speak to her or Chad ever again unless its to apologize. Otherwise, the person will have to deal with her again.

Whenever Kim tries to coerce Chad to a challenge or a competition, Marinette quickly shot that idea down and that it’s rude to peer pressure anyone into something.

One time, Marinette needed some help reaching something from the cabinet and Chad helps her by lifting her up to get it. They couldn’t make eye contact

Marinette doesn’t plan on letting Chad play Ultimate Mecha Strike 3. In fact, Marinette didn't told Chad about it because she then would be teaching him; and she doesn’t teach, she punishes. Marinette doesn’t want to do that to Chad.

Chad sees Marinette as a cinnamon roll. Marinette sees Chad as a breathtaking mountain view.

When Chad found out Marinette is ladybug, he keeps quiet. But he calls her “Mariquita”, which means “ladybug” in spanish. When Marinette finds out, she would panick and blush cause why not.

Since Marinette is afraid of ghouls and ghosts, more specifically ghosts, it was decided unanimously by Chad, Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, Adrien, and the Soul Musketeers that she doesn’t find out about the whole Shinigami, Fullbringer, and Hollow related things.

Marinette and Chad are rooting for Orihime to pursue Ichigo. But one time, Marinette found out from Chad that Ichigo didn’t consider Orihime’s feelings so she gave Ichigo an ultimatum: "Orihime is the only one that can feed you my pastries". It was a sad lunch for Ichigo while Chad and Marinette can only watch with different reactions. Chad was grinning, Marinette did not think this through, and Rukia laughed about the whole thing. Tikki was giggling about it.
