While we were visiting Tony's sister last month, she sent me home with a few vintage sewing notions. It began with her asking me what these Chadwick Measure Clips do. I prefer to use a flat metal Dritz hem gauge to press a sharp, straight hem and then secure with straight pins. Just from @elysegambino 's verbal description I knew they were also for marking hems. I don't think I've ever used these on a hem before. Has anyone else?
