the younger female waltzed into the design studio, setting her sights on the male busy with...whatever he was busy with. she wasn't really too concerned about how he spent his time when she wasn't around to care to know what his latest project was. she scurried up behind him, hands occupied by two Starbucks cups. "I come bearing gifts!"

█ ▌Meticulously, he was leaned toward the mannequin with cloth strewn all over its lifeless curvature, fingers grasping a needle with black thread. He worked fast on the small piece that couldn’t be tightened with a sewing machine. Even the sound of careless footsteps couldn’t break his sharp gaze from behind a wall of circular glasses. 

    “Fffffff-uck!” The curse slipped as soon as the needle poked the pad of his thumb, causing his tall frame to straighten. Childishly, he stuck the injured finger between his lips and tucked the needle back into the fabric, turning to click his teeth at the younger. His anger dissolved when he observed the nutmeg sprinkled over a mountain of whipped cream. He decided to give her a hard time anyway.

    “You shouldn’t scare me like that. Should I take yours as payment?” His brow hiked as he took both cups from her hands, smothering his grin by taking a continuous sip of her coffee.
