you flopped down on the couch, your ears drooping with exhaustion. you heard wingbeats behind you and the soft tap of shoes, the couch cushion dipping down next to you as you felt a hand start to card softly through your hair.
"charlie really had you running all over the place, huh, babe?" vaggi murmured, a faint smile on her face.
you hummed in agreement, your voice muffled by the couch.
"mmhm...she was busy trying to reconcile things with lucifer.."
vaggi's hand paused in your hair, a small sigh escaping her lips.
"at least she's trying..." she leaned down and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
the doors to the hotel opened, in walking lucifer and charlie, both looking like they had been crying.
"i'm just really sorry dad, i shouldn't have..blamed you for this, I'm so sor-"
lucifer cut her off, pulling her into a hug.
"i know, char-char..it's okay..now go to your girlfriends, one of them looks exhausted," he smiled, sending you a soft smile before he teleported away.
charlie's attention was immediately turned to you and vaggi, quickly rushing over and gathering the latter in a tight hug, grinning and turning to you, her smile softening.
"you look tired..do you want to go upstairs?" the blonde asked softly, trying not to be too loud.
"mmh, no, I'm fine here.." you mumbled, already almost half asleep.
vaggi chuckled softly, bringing charlie over and adjusting your position so that way you were laying across their laps, your head in charlie's lap as she gently brushed through your hair, careful to avoid your ears, while vaggi held your hand, gently tracing patterns into the back of it.
your eyes fluttered shut, and eventually, you drifted off to sleep, small, content purrs escaping you when you did.
