//Not like that
It had been good to take a walk. Just aimlessly getting around in the city as he had tried to clear his mind. NYC may not be the best place to clear your mind, but it's great if you want to think of something else. Something is always happening and you're always witnessing different things, so your own problems seems less important than what they did before. In the beginning of his little city journey, it had seemed useless. Couples walking around everywhere, but shutting himself in at a little, yet busy café it had all been ok. Drinking from the white cup, he had eyed everyone there and before he knew it he had spent three hours watching people in the café and people passing outside the window he was sat by. By the time he walked home to their building, he really hoped Kate would be long gone, and maybe even Chanel. Maybe they had ran off together as a happy lesbian couple? Kate was pretty, Chanel was most definitely pretty, gorgeous even, and none of them needed him so they should be running hand in hand into the sunset. However, when he opened the door to their apartment Spongebob was playing and there were no doubt in his mind that Chanel would still be here. Mentally he crossed his fingers that Kate had fucked off to the sunset alone then.
