Chained to the Bottom of the Ocean is a blackened/death/doom metal band based out of Western Massachusetts. Sisyphean Cruelty is the band's second full-length coming on the heels of last year's two sold out releases: the LP Obsession Destruction and the EP Consumed by the Vitriol of Life. Sisyphean Cruelty is an eight song LP. This full length finds the band at their rawest and most intense, covered in riffs that harken 90s death metal while mixing seamlessly with their already existing doom DNA.

Within the last year we releases 3 records (and in one case a tape and CD as well) that we are still stoked on! We have more coming this year (with one at the record plant right now!). @spacecampct “Overjoyed In This World” was released March 6th of 2020 just as the East Coast of the US was about to shut down for Covid. One of the couple release shows happened as planned, but then any touring or plans of it ceased. The record rules and is a truly wild ride from first to last song. Check them out - they have a Bandcamp page where you can preview. Copies on all formats readily available through the band or us. @landingtryyps #headroom Split LP was released on July 17th of 2020 when we were all still a little naive and thinking that maybe this Corona thing would be done sometime in the Fall (not quite as naive as in March or April when we did decide to delay the release to a time we thought might be more opportune - welp!). I believe both sides of this are now on the respective bands’ Bandcamp pages. Copies are available through us and Headroom (Landing has run out). We are below the 100 copy mark though so definitely scoop soon! Two very different and complimentary takes on Psych. The final release we did in 2020 was a collection of all of @cttboto #chainedtothebottomoftheocean’s sold out releases (so a discography to this point). This came out October 16th, 2020. White/Black copies are just about gone and Black vinyl copies are also getting low. With the name and art you likely know the doom sludge direction this is taking you.
