💜✨My favorite part of this project was the chain and scale maille. I’ve seen people make the coolest things for crafts, jewelry, and even entire garments pieces for ren fest, cosplay, or larping and I wanted to learn. It started with me just wanting to make a tail out of scale maille, as seen in my design, but I ended up also weaving all of the chain for the entire costume because I loved the bright gold, saw cut rings from @theringlord and wanted it all to match! • I highly recommend doing some hand stretches before and after your weaving sessions because it can really make your hands sore and stiff if you’re not careful. I felt like my hands were really strong after about 3 weeks. The results stand out and I’m so happy with how it looks. • Tomorrow is the @ultimatecosplaychampionship!
