apparently tolkien had a bad experience with a huntsman when he was a kid, decided that shelob would be a thing, and then spawned the fantasy trope of giant spiders

honestly im 0% surprised. so many tropes go back to tolkien one way or another

i’ve been watching that actually! a video once a week is way too rare.... griffin’s nuzlocke got me interested in seeing more nuzlockes, but finding more by looking through the trash of youtube is difficult...
