I was watching this and started thinking about "the couch".

In our culture, it instantly conveys the idea of therapy. Many people who've never been to a therapist assume that there will be a couch to lay on, and I've talked to some that have avoided therapy because they're anxious about lying down in front of a stranger.

I've never been to a therapist who had a chaise-lounge, but I wouldn't actually mind it. It would be relaxing for bio-feedback, or just on a depressed day. Only downside is I would want to take a nap after my session.
