On this fine Chakoday, let me present to you this mix of scruffy/dirty Action- Chakotay. I think he may need a long hot bath now. I'll gladly volunteer to wash his back and while I'm at it also... other parts.
One of my favorite things about star trek voyager is the relationship between Chakotay and Janeway. It's never romantic. They depend on each other for leadership and ideas but there isn't any sexual tension. Even when they were left together on a planet to live on their own bc they couldn't leave, there was STILL no sexual tension or sudden romance between them.
I enjoy them.
