Challenge 98: Practice Makes Progress: Stevie Dog I fancied myself an author when I was a kid, and realized only later that I liked drawing much better than writing. I have tons of notebooks filled with ridiculous stories, but actually was having trouble finding ones that I'd want to draw again now. (SO. MANY. PONIES.)
This particular notebook was a special gift from my Grandmom and Grandad on my 8th birthday, with my name printed on the front and made specially for my story-writing. Here are two pages from "Stevy Dog and the Problem with Fur" (I had a whole series of Stevy Dog adventures). In case you can’t read child-me handwriting, this is the accompanying text for the OG Stevy [sic] Dog, complete with misspellings: [convo between old dog and narrator dog] "What is sheding?" I asked. "It is when you loose all your fur," he said, "Why did you ask?" "I'm sssheding," I said softly, "has it ever happend to you?" "Yes, I shed all the time just I'm lucky because I only loose some fur," he said. Caitlin
