Challenge 99: Freebie: Date Night 💗
I’ve had this Harley/ Ivy sketch sitting on my desk for a little over a year, figured now was the time to finally take it to finish! The original had almost an 80′s/ Power Bitch/ Boss/ vibe but I wanted to sweeten it up and make it depict a romantic evening for the two!

It being one of my favorite times of the year, I chose to show the characters of Howl’s Moving Castle all decked out for Halloween. Challenge 99: Freebie: Hand-Lettered Sign
The East Austin Studio Tour is coming up in November, and it’s one of the biggest events of my career each year!
The space I usually show my work in has been undergoing renovation and during the process, some vintage (1940s-ish?) wood panels were left behind. I’m going to be selling a couple of these signs, on the reclaimed wood that came from the space in which I’ll be selling it. I think that’ll resonate with people a little bit!
Had to do some hand-lettering with a positive message, given the state of our nation right now. Unfortunately, seeing a phrase like this in red, white and blue didn’t feel natural to me. I hope that changes, and soon.
