He doubted that it was Lasse's intention to get a gotcha moment in, he didn't seem the type, but even so he did have him there. He didn't drink a hell of a lot, he'd just assumed that Lasse didn't either, he didn't seem like a straight vodka drinker.

At the last part of Lasse's words she couldn't look him directly in the eyes, she had no real desire her brother to be dead, but she did still maintain the notion that their father's actions towards her brother were actually Lasse's own fault, in order to reconcile that in their mind. This grew ever harder, though it didn't externally show. For Valpuri now knew what it sounded like when a young man was in such pain he screamed himself hoarse and scratched on his door to get out. She preferred to ignore thoughts of this. Hard to rationalise, too hard, he made his bed.
