Scottsdale Shuts Out Salt River - November 16, 2016

The Scorpions throw a three hit shutout against the Rafters 4-0.

Gavin Cecchini went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Tim Tebow drew a walk.

Champ Stuart went 1-for-3 with a run scored and swiped his 10th stolen base.

Scottsdale heads to Mesa today at 2:35 p.m.

Tebow Has First Multi-Hit Game

Scottsdale fell to Salt River 9-1 yesterday in the Arizona Fall League.

Tim Tebow recorded his first multi-hit game of the fall. Tebow has been heating up recording 8 hits in his last 10 games.

Gavin Cecchini went 1-for-4 with a RBI.

Champ Stuart reached base on a fielder's choice and swiped his 9th bag of the fall league.

Marcos Molina allowed one run on two hits and a walk. He also recorded a strikeout. 

Scottsdale will host Peoria today at 2:35 p.m. EST.

Late Rally Not Enough for Scorpions - November 11, 2016

The Scottsdale Scorpions mounted an 8th inning rally but it was not enough to overcome the Peoria Javelinas. Three Mets prospects played key roles in yesterday’s 5-4 loss to Peoria.

Corey Taylor continues to improve this fall. Taylor pitched 1.2 innings striking out three while not surrendering any runs. 

Tim Tebow picked up a hit and walk, he also scored.

Champ Stuart also had a hit and a walk. 

Tonight Scottsdale will host the Glendale Desert Dog at 8:35 p.m.

Scorpions defeat Salt River 8-5 - November 3, 2016

The Scottsdale Scorpions came out on top defeating the Salt River Rafters 8-5 yesterday.

Center fielder Champ Stuart continued to produce this fall as he went 2-for-3 at the plate with 2 RBI, and a run scored. Stuart currently holds a .372 average.

Right hander Corey Taylor entered in the sixth inning allowing one run while striking out three in 2.0 innings of work.

The Scorpions play this afternoon at 2:35 EST against the Glendale Desert Dogs.

Scottsdale Slug 13 Hits in Loss - November 1, 2016

Scottsdale fell to Glendale 8-7 as the Desert Dogs walked off in the bottom in the 9th thanks to a single by Cody Bellinger.

Gavin Cecchini doubled, singled, walked and scored twice in the loss.

Champ Stuart had a couple of hits scoring once and driving in a run.

David Roseboom continued his dominant fall league pitching striking our four in two innings of work.

The Scorpions will travel to Surprise as Cory Oswalt takes the hill at 3:35 p.m.

Mets Prospects Shine in Win - October 27, 2016

Mets prospects played key roles in Scottsdale’s 9-7 win against Salt River last night. See how they performed:

Mesa Defeats Scottsdale 4-3 - October 21, 2016

A fielding error by Miguel Andujar the allowed Mesa to score in the bottom of the 9th to take a 4-3 win. 

David Roseboom struck out two batters.

Center fielder Champ Stuart went 1-for-3 yesterday. 

Corey Oswalt gets the start today as at 3:35 p.m. as Scottsdale visits Peoria.

Stuart Homers in Loss - October 15, 2016

Champ Stuart belted a solo homer in yesterday’s 8-1 loss to Surprise. Stuart’s dinger was the first hit of the game for Scottsdale and came in the sixth inning. 

Gavin Cecchini continued his hot AZ Fall League play, going 1-for-3 with a walk. 

David Roseboom came in for an inning of work. He walked two but worked out of the jam by striking out Eric Wood to work a scoreless eighth.

Scottsdale is off today but will return to action on Monday where they battle the Mesa Solar Sox at home.
