Anivia: Frozen Chicken
Anivia will come off to be an intimidating champion to master but the utility she brings to fights is well worth the time. Anivia is relatively skillshot heavy. I do not recommend using smart cast with Anivia especially when you're new to her.
Anivia's Passive: Rebirth (I felt it was necessary for once to talk about a passive.) Anivia's passive is the best bait (aside from teemo) to make the enemy do something completely stupid and throw the game. Is your jungler trying to gank for you when you're at 100 health? Bait the enemy into diving you and force them into a bad position. Is your team camping a bush? Walk on out there and bait someone to engage on you and have your team jump out and completely crush them. But do keep in mind that once your passive is down you're as vulnerable as any other mid ap carry.
Anivia’s Q: Flash Frost Flash frost is a line skillshot that deals damage and slows everything that it passes and aoe stuns when it explodes. This is quite hard to land if you're not good at predicting enemy movement/ aiming. Flash frost's damage is cut in half if you don't pop it.
Anivia’s W: Crystallize Crystallize is great for protecting yourself, catching someone, or splitting up a team. This isn't something you want to put too many points in early so the wall it produces will be pretty small. Protecting yourself: If someone is chasing after you just wall right behind yourself and the enemy will most likely stop chasing since they'll have to go all the way around your wall (with the exception of nets/flashes since they can go right through it). Catching someone: If someone is overextended or they just roamed into the wrong part of the jungle wall their exit off and you'll be able to either get a kill or force a flash. Splitting up a team: During team fights if you can keep someone at bay with your wall (preferably a carry) then your team will have an easy win.
Anivia’s E: Frostbite Frostbite deals less damage if the target isn't chilled by Anivia's Q or R. Honestly, Frostbite doesn't serve much purpose alone except for maybe last hitting minions when you really need to.
Anivia’s R: Glacial Storm Glacial Storm is an aoe slow and continuous damage dealing spell. Glacial Storm can clear waves of minions in a few seconds so it's perfect for defending towers/ pushing. Also, if you're planning to kill jungle camps use this instead of spamming other skills in order to save more mana (using E to quickly last hit is fine). Anivia’s Combos (Commonly used) Q>E Use this combo for a heavy burst poke. This will probably take them down to half health (given that you have at least 2 points in each skill). If they foolishly stick around use this combo again + ignite to finish them off. R>E (For those who are challenged at aiming) There's only a ~10% chance of you missing this combo. If you just can't land your Q or if it's a critical moment and you're just so close to killing them that you cant stop to cast Q use your R>E combo! This will almost never fail you. Q>R>W>E>Ignite (If you're new to Anivia then you will probably smash every key trying to do this combo. Also this is my personal arrangement of the skill order, there are other ways of doing this) If this doesn't kill them well then fuck. Maybe next time champ. Summoner Spells that work on Anivia Ignite/Flash Teleport/Flash
