Is carrying the smallest amount of bills possible really that fucking important?
So, one woman's change comes to $14.66. I only had 4 $5 bills left and an assload of $1s, therefore, not wholly necessary to call up my manager for change, so I gave her 1 $5 and 9 $1 bills.
Any other person would just take the money, and be on their merry way.
I couldn't have been that lucky, today. No way.
After I closed the till, she turns to me and says, "Don't you have a $10 bill? I really don't want to carry all of this!"
If I had one, don't you think I would have given it to you?
I told her that was all I had, but she fussed and demanded that I get the manager up there so she could give me more big bills.
Really? If this is such a big fucking deal for you, I really think you need to take up some hobbies, not yell at cashiers already having a shitty day and are actively avoiding their manager at all costs.
