6 months ago, during a course, the teacher had all of the participants write a letter to ourselves. Something kind, loving and words of wisdom. At the time it felt a bit weird, but I wrote something and recently the letter arrived in the mail, having completely forgotten about it. This is what it said “Dear Kristine, you are curious, kind, generous and determined. You deserve to be stimulated by your work and pursue your passion which is the support of breastfeeding and lactation. Have confidence in your ability to get started without perfecting anything. Look beyond your current place of employment for future opportunities” Soon after this I quickly forgot about the letter, but the universe presented two pretty big hints at me. I stepped out of my comfort zone, found some courage and asked a question. Both come back with a big YES and all of a sudden I had two job offers. One stood out and I grabbed it. For those following my page locally, I now practice physiotherapy at Island Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates (based at Coastal Health) with some fabulous physios! Spread the word! And whilst I practice a variety of methods including sports, spinal and Pilates, please remember me if you, or someone you know is having breastfeeding difficulties, be it attachment or supply related or mastitis/blocked ducts. #changeisgreat #newjob #physiotherapy #physiotherapy #lactation #breastfeeding #lettertomyself #courage @karacassells @kc_cleeland 💕💕
