Moonlight Touch

Cassandra seemed to fair better at night than during the day. It always been that way for her, and though the night was till young to her, the long hours of practicing tempted her enough to make her way back home. However before finally making her way back, she had stopped by the park, wanting to extend her time outside just a bit longer. With just the light poles and the very dim light of the moon lighting up the walkway just enough, Cassandra was pleased to make this detour.
However, her clunky boots despised her change of pace. Hitting a slightly raised piece of sidewalk, Cassandra soon was down on her knees. “Fuck...” She muttered under her breath, and slowly getting up, she went to dust her knees. With a grimace, those mere motions caused an ache in both her knees and hands. Though the light was dim, she could see the faintest glimmer of red, having broke skin in her fall.
And before she could take a second to see if she had one of Claire’s healing potions, the voice of a stranger made her jump. Turning her head, she looked at the woman, a hint of red on her cheeks. “Don’t tease me or else-.”
