Denialism
Denialism as it’s called, is an irrational action that withholds the validation of an experience or event, past or present, where a person refuses to accept their verifiable reality by means of observation or experience.
No matter my difficulties I have never denied my realities. I have and continue to tackle my difficulties head on and am truthful about what those are and what I have to deal with. Each blog I write, outlines my realities.
When it comes to human behaviour, denialism is a person’s choice. It is difficult to talk to anyone who denies their reality, they generally don’t listen, and only believe what they want to believe. But for us to deny reality is us avoiding a psychologically uncomfortable truth that we need to face.
Denying what we deal with has become an all too common part of society. We must learn to deal with our issues and not be in denial on those.
Dealing with what we want to believe and not the truth, will lead to us undermining our own long-term goals and future prospects.
