The words come out as instinctively as a shout when pinched, a knee-jerk reaction to the hurt in Channie's charmingly mismatched eyes. He plays back the last few weeks: Jinyoung in their shared room (we can't fool around any more) to Shinwoo and their leader's confession (we're dating) and sighs before Chan can even lift one perfectly sarcastic eyebrow. "-much? I'm sorry. It has nothing to do with you. Promise."
He makes a teasing kissy noise, and prays Chan will take it at that.
