So what you think of the newest iris thing - chanting anon
I have MANY thoughts
First and foremost, CHASE. HES BACK. MY BOY I MISS HIM SO MUCH
And then everything else like what the hell is happening, why is Iris concerned about Chase and why are they keeping him in a cell, what happened to Chase in those woods, who killed those scientists, who or what is the time thief, are any other egos involved?
There’s a lot to stew on. I’m not sure what I’m leaning towards. Possessed Chase makes sense because maybe he got possessed in the time between the woods and the time he was on the roof and he just doesn’t remember. And we know Anti can possess people or at least mess with their perception. We also saw someone who I assume is Anti stalking Chase in CHASE.
I want to know if Marvin is involved in any way. He had a journal that mentioned Iris and antimatter. Is he the time thief? Does he work for Iris? Against Iris? Without Iris’s knowledge? Is Iris aware of him? What and why is he researching?
Will we get to see more than one ego? Will we get to see them interact? Henrik has mentioned that he knows Chase and Jack and they’re good friends. Is there a canonical reason they all look the same? Or are they different characters just played by the same man (Like Damien, William, and Marc)?
What the hell is Iris trying to do? They have a security system that they sell for personal and commercial use, but they also have a lab of scientists doing who knows what about time supposedly.
Which also alludes to Jamie and his time thing. Is there a canon reason he appears to be from the past? Is it a front or is he actually from the past? Will we get to see him at all?
And then of course Jackie, Mr MIA. I wonder if this is the project where he reappears again. Is the time he’s missing canon like Henrik’s 9 months? Or is it just a large time skip thing because of how slowly the ego story is coming out? No hate to Sean, I completely understand how long it can take to write a good story you can produce and be proud of. What’s his role in all this? What his association with Iris?
There’s speculation that Anti is an experiment of Iris’s that got out of hand. I’m not sure what to think of that. As far as I know, Iris doesn’t have that type of technology yet. They can detect emotion through cameras, but can they make a creature? Is Anti a creature? They have the technology to detect a time thief. Is Anti a human with Iris technology? Why did he do what he did? What’s he got against Jack, Henrik, and Chase? Is it Anti possessing or controlling Jamie? If so, what’s he got against Jamie? Are they all alters of each other or are they all unfortunate people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Anyway, that’s a lot of thoughts I didn’t mean for it to get so long whoops. Suffice to say, I’m very excited for what’s to come!
