The sounds of sirens grew louder and louder in Arya’s ears as she sprinted down the alleyway. Her lungs and calves were burning with effort, but stopping now was not an option. She tossed her skateboard over the fence at the end of the alley and began the laborious task of climbing over the entwined metal. Her feet reverberated with shock as she landed on the other side. Arya snatched up her board and took off running again.
“Robb’s going to fucking kill me.” Arya rounded a sharp corner and pressed her back up against the bricks, breathing heavily. The sirens sounded like they were about to pass, but she noticed a pair of eyes on her. She whipped her head up and narrowed her gaze. “Don’t you say one word. Got it?”
