The chewing-out he’d just received from his captain left Gildor in the sourest mood he’d experienced in a while. And to be handed a case with nothing on it, to top it all off. He grit his teeth as he trudged to his office, wondering how he would get a 10-year cold case off the ground. As he was contemplating whether his superior really could relegate him to a single case, he walked into his office to see a man he recognized lounging in his chair, casually sipping out of his coffee mug and reading a folder Gildor was fairly certain he’d locked in his filing cabinet. At least that case was closed.
“What are you doing here?” He demanded, sounding more annoyed than he really meant to.
K so I don’t know if I’ll be able to describe this in a way that makes sense, but there’s this scene that I think I’ve seen in some media but I can’t remember any specifics, but it’s when two people who have been dancing around each other kiss for the first time and while I love the gentle kiss with gasp I love the desperate kiss and this specific scene is the desperate kiss BUT HERE’S THE THING the two people have been formal up until this point so one of them says “Mr./Ms. Whatever” (tho I personally LOVE the idea of servant/royalty with “Your Grace” or something similar) in the midst of passionate kissing and the other person just pauses the passion to say their first name and the original speaker JUST REPEATS IT IN THIS RAPTUROUS VOICE BECAUSE NOT ONLY ARE THEY FINALLY KISSING BUT THE OTHER PERSON TRUSTS THEM ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO CALL THEM BY THEIR FIRST NAME AND I
