DpxDc Idea Prompt thing
I wrote and rewrote this like 3 times I've given up if this is bad you cant be mad at me
One day Dick has all his siblings at his house/appartment. He finally beat them down and convinced them to have a sibling night- even Jason agreed as long as Bruce wasn't there! The siblings are goofing around, with Jason chasing Dick around with a (fake)snake and Tim, Steph, and Cass placing bets as Damian pretends to brood, Barbra records them, and Duke brings in their pizza order.
And then from the hallway, stumbles out someone that only Dick recognizes. Looks wise he fits in pretty well, dark haired and light eyed, but he scarily pale, and his skin glitters slightly in the dim house lights, and he had a delicate fresh looking scar dancing from his right hand, up his right arm, and across his chest. He's wearing criminally little clothes, a lime green pair of short-shorts with ghost shaped leopard spots decorating them and a plain white mesh tank top, and his hair is sticking up in all directions. He seemed dazed as he looks at them all, eyes falling onto Dick.
Dick immediately rushes forwards with apologies and reassurances, he tries to feel the man's face, but he whines and shys away, claiming its too hot. Dick apologizes a few more times before escorting the man back down the hallway.
When Dick returns, the Pizza has been set out with plates, and Steph asks what they were all thinking: "Who dat?"
Dick sighs and sits down as they start eating, and explains. Danny, the guy they just saw, was a friend Dick made during one of his really bad fights with Bruce. Because he and Bruce were on bad terms, Dick never brought Danny around, and then it just sorta became second nature. Dick isn't totally sure what Danny's deal is, meta, alien, interdimensional, and he has no intention of asking or snooping(here he shoots Tim and Barbra a warning look), but whatever his deal is, it comes with ice powers. With said ice powers, comes some really bad heat sensitivity, one way his body combats it, is to go through, basically, a hibernation-like state. Danny basically sleeps through the end of June and most of July to escape the heat. But, with him sleeping, and Danny's already weird relationship with food, he often forgets to wake up to eat and drink just a little bit, so after Dick and Danny became really good friends, Dick offered to look after Danny, making sure he eats, and drinks on schedule.
Dick promises that Danny is harmless, they've been friends for years, if he was going to be a threat, he would have done something by now. So he asks them to leave Danny alone.
But, we know the BatSibs. They will not, in fact, be leaving Danny alone.
