Behind the build ~
The chaos ball:
The idea behind this ever-evolving build is to utilize as many of the elements of Hajime Kinoko's web shibari techniques that I can currently digest (his thoughtfulness and inventiveness will make for life-long studying for me) and other principles of chaotic builds I have studied, to progressively encapsulate and compact my grounded partner in toward themselves; utilizing a network of ropes to distribute their weight across their form. Finally, I suspend them on a single upline. The entire process is probably my favorite labbing playground currently - we are learning so much and having so much fun. This chaos ball is made of ~ 250' of jute rope and took a little over an hour to tie.

"Babe, I'm a thousand miles away
And I just don't know what to say
'Cause Jesus only loves a man who bruises
But darling we can clearly see
It's all life and fire and lunacy
And excuses and excuses and excuses"
Our first time suspending a chaos ball on a doubled pulley system. I was able to hoist @sacrificethelamb up an extra ~20" higher from our previous suspensions using a standard 2:1 pulley. This body net is comprised of ~ 50m of rope and took around 45min to create.

You knew I was a hard-boiled egg...
...so you applied firm and continuous pressure with the palm of your hand as you rolled me back and forth across the counter top...
See: You exposed me
