Shipping out another bamboo bit gag today.

Hand-cut, flame-treated bamboo — cleaned and polished with food-grade mineral oil on the bite surface for a smooth, natural finish.

The lashings are jute, carefully defringed and finished with beeswax to give the twine body and weight. I like when the fiber feels substantial in the hand, grounded, intentional.

I work slowly and by feel. Shaping, sanding, binding. Small variations remain from the process, because this is made by a person, not stamped out by a machine.
