To play devil’s advocate here, there’s another post somewhere contrasting how Izuku is a prep who acts like a delinquent and Katsuki is a delinquent who acts like a prep, which I think would make Izu Robin and Baku Speedy in that case? Bc Izu/Robin both think out their plans thouroughly before acting, and both hide their baggage from their friends, while I remember Speedy getting into fights with his team mates and being a bit more radical generally.
i mean, that’s also a fair point
but i still think Robin is just too morally gray of a character at times to be Izuku lol he literally faked being a villain while tricking his teammates, will rough up people to get information out of them (sometimes very brutally), and sometimes has to be held back by his teammates, not to mention that one really dark ep where Robin thought Slade was still around bc of that powder
feel free to have your own opinion but yeah, i shall not be convinced otherwise on this
