I read some sage advice today: "If you go into a record store or comic shop and only buy the stuff you came in looking for, you're doing it wrong. Grab something you've never heard of." So I went to a record store and bought this Chapels of Gore 7" for $6 because I liked the cover. I had no idea what it was, so it was a mystery until the moment I dropped the needle. Turns out it is raw, angry black metal of the variety that fits squarely in my stable. As a bonus, I learned that Chapels of Gore is from Texas, so I unwittingly supported a band in my home state.
