That feeling when you’re authentically YOU and living your best damn life! Today is #NationalComingOutDay and I’m happy to partner with @chappyapp because they believe in fostering meaningful connections within the LGBTQ community, whether it’s finding a partner or making new friends. It's these connections that can help you when you're coming out because a community and support system are so important. And speaking of coming out, I shared the story of the first person I came out to in my first IGTV video yesterday! (You can watch it now on my IGTV channel in case you missed it!) It was my best friend in high school who is still a very close friend today. (Hi @cabanico!) If it wasn’t for the support of friends and being able to free myself of my “big secret” I don’t know if I could’ve navigated high school and then had the strength and courage to eventually come out to the rest of my friends and family. Coming out should always be on your own time and your own personal choice so having a close knit group of friends that support and love you can be a huge part of that choice. @Chappyapp is a great place to find these like-minded individuals.
