Just want to talk about this scene LOL, I can’t help but actually put a small smile when I read it because, this scene not only emphasize me that Qin love for Xi is unrequited (which I already know), but with how Xi reacted towards what she said about ‘giving him kids’ actually irked him to the point of what was shown in THAT scene ^ like he was uncomfortable with the idea. This is like a further emphasis on this point between their roles as fiance/engaged marriage isn’t mutual, which again, like we already know is an arrangement between two families. I don’t think Xi will ever pull through in marrying her and it will be called off at some point since Qin clearly knows (already) how Xi feels and how her love for him is unrequited, and if she loves him, she’ll only want to support Xi’s happiness. What I’m saying is, I don’t see Qin & Xi marriage ever happening on my end. This kinda reminds me to the whole Ann & Ritsu situation in Sekakoi (lol).
