Eclipse
Before long, “knowing” that her name is Ursule is not enough. Marius needs to know where she lives. He follows her home. Then, after a while, he asks the porter which floor she lives on and what Leblanc does for a living. The porter tells Marius that they live on the third floor and that “Leblanc” is a charitable gentleman, but when Marius asks for Leblanc’s real name, the porter begins to wonder if Marius is a police spy.
The next day, Leblanc and Lanoire don’t stay long in the garden, and Marius follows them home. Once they get to the house, Lanoire goes inside, and Leblanc turns and stares at Marius. The next day, they don’t come to the park. For a week, Marius contents himself with watching the lights in the window on the third floor, but after a week, the lights go out. The porter says that they have moved away and didn’t say where they were going.
